Medal of Honor - Project Team
The Medal of Honor memorial is composed of many elements by a number of artists and designers. It was by intention a collaboration of many talented individuals coming together in common cause.
The overall concept and many core decisions grew out of countless fertile discussions between Heidi Wastweet and Michael Magrath.
The final design was consolidated and executed by Magrath Sculpture over the spring and summer of 2009. Heidi also contributed the impressive relief panel in the center of the memorial. (image above).
Overall site considerations including the steps and plaza were by Dodi Fredericks of Fredericks Architecure.
The Minerva Pedestal was designed and sculpted by Michael Magrath and cast by Katie Miller.
